When Pierre and Sonja decided to open a Home Watch company, they discovered the National Home Watch Association (NHWA). The association was created by home watch professionals that were dedicated to bringing the best practices in the industry.
Check My Home is an accredited Home Watch company through the NHWA. To become an accredited member, one must pass a strict vetting process that assures the public of their commitment to excellence by setting and upholding the very highest of standards in our industry. The screening process included:
Criminal background checks on all company principals
Proper insurance coverage—both general and professional liability
Consumer complaint checks
Truthful website and advertising content
Adherence to the NHWA’s Code of Ethics
Commitment to the NHWA’s Mission Statement.
Pierre and Sonja are active participants with the Southwest Florida Chapter of the NHWA. They attend quarterly meetings to discuss best practices and to keep abreast of the latest trends in the Home Watch industry with other Home Watch Professionals.
Pierre is proud to announce he is a Certified Home Watch Professional through the NHWA. To become certified, Pierre was required to pass a written examination with high competency with the emphasis on the best practices set forth by the NHWA. To maintain his certification, Pierre is committed to furthering his education by taking courses that are relevant to the home watch profession.
Why bother getting Check My Home accredited and Pierre certified through the National Home Watch Association? It’s simple. We want to assure you as our clients that we are committed to the very latest and best procedures, practices and policies in the Home Watch industry.
As a police officer, Pierre served his community with honor, integrity and compassion and will continue serving as a Certified Home Watch Professional.
Our Mission is to provide you with the best possible home watch service through professionalism, reliability, accountability, and integrity.
