MEET THE TEAM
We are Pierre and Sonja Tremblay, proud owners and operators of Check My Home. Married since 1996, we are blessed with one daughter and three wonderful grandchildren. During a visit to a family friend in Estero, Florida, we fell in love with the area so much that we placed a contract on a home that very same trip. Today, Southwest Florida is our permanent home in paradise, and we’ve never looked back.
Pierre is a retired Police Lieutenant with over 30 years of law enforcement experience, including more than 16 years as a supervisor. He oversaw units in Property Crimes, Fraud, Auto Theft, and Surveillance. During his time in Estero, friends and neighbors encouraged him to start a Home Watch company, recognizing that his extensive background in law enforcement could provide clients with an added level of trust, reliability, and peace of mind.
Pierre now manages daily operations and conducts inspections personally. With his keen eye for detail and years of situational experience, he ensures clients receive the highest level of service and care.
Sonja is a retired Respiratory Therapist with over 25 years in the medical field. She brings extensive customer service experience to Check My Home and is passionate about ensuring every client feels valued and well cared for. Sonja oversees marketing and client communications, making sure each interaction reflects the professionalism and warmth our business is built on.

ABOUT
When Pierre and Sonja decided to open a Home Watch company, they discovered the National Home Watch Association (NHWA). The association was created by home watch professionals that were dedicated to bringing the best practices in the industry.
Check My Home is an accredited Home Watch company through the NHWA. To become an accredited member, one must pass a strict vetting process that assures the public of their commitment to excellence by setting and upholding the very highest of standards in our industry. The screening process included:

Pierre and Sonja are active participants with the Southwest Florida Chapter of the NHWA. They attend quarterly meetings to discuss best practices and to keep abreast of the latest trends in the Home Watch industry with other Home Watch Professionals.
Chapter Aid
Pierre serves as a Chapter Aid and holds the titles of Mentorship Co-Chair and Chapter Connector.
As Mentorship Co-Chair, Pierre supports new business owners by answering questions, offering guidance, and sharing the best practices that have contributed to his own success.
In his role as Chapter Connector, he organizes and maintains a comprehensive list of service areas covered by the SWFL Chapter. This resource was created to help potential clients easily identify the Home Watch company that best fits their needs.
